GUEST OF HONOR: WENDEE LEE

Anime Conji is pleased to announce that prolific Voice Actress, Director, and Writer Wendee Lee will be joining us in this year’s festivities! Wendee Lee has been working in the industry for years, beginning the earlier 1980’s with her role as Vanessa Leeds in the anime classic Robotech. Her body of work is far too extensive to fully list here but notable roles include voicing Faye Valentine on Cowboy Bebop, Umi Ryuuzaki on Magic Knights Rayearth, Kiyone Makibi on Tenchi Muyo!, Haruhi Suzumiya on The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Konata Izumi on Lucky Star. ARTIST GUEST OF HONOR:  CHRIS DAILY

The artist and creator of the webcomic Striptease.  This local San Diegan has been working his magic since 2000 to present.  He is a Caricature Artist as well as a freelance storyboard artist.  He has been so generous as to make an appearance at our convention as a guest, and will be hosting various events at the convention. Chris is also the artist for the popular webcomic Punch and Pie, written by Aerie of Queen of Wands.

MUSICAL GUEST OF HONOR:  THE BLACK CRYSTALS

The Black Crystals are Anime Conji’s Musical Guests of Honor. Winners of AX Battle of the bands, the Black Crystals are an LA based band who are well known at Anime Conventions in California.  For more information on our Musical Guests of Honor check out our Music Festival Page.

GUEST: STEPHEN WEESE

Stephen Weese is a film and voice actor getting his break with a role in the Hellsing OVAs, and recently another role in a major video game yet to be announced. He is co-host of the web TV show  Anime Olympics with Cristina Vee. Also a writer, he created the web comic The Great Space Race, now being marketed to be produced into an animated series. He appeared as a LARPer in Role Models, and several films he has written are in pre-production. He is also a true fan, gamer, and geek. You can keep up with Stephen at www.steveracer.com.

Patrick is an prolific voice actor who has voiced many roles in Anime and Video Games.  He the voice of Isshin Kurosaki in Bleach, and Luke Valentine in Hellsing,  in addition to roles in Codes Geas, Hellgirl, Naruto,  and many many other titles.
