Robert Trebor has been called “A Renaissance Man of Hollywood.” Actor, director, screenwriter, author, monologist, composer and critic, his oeuvre has spanned four decades in film, television publishing and the stage. He began his entertainment career as a film critic and has worked with such diverse personalities as John Frankenheimer, Oliver Stone, Lucy Lawless, Kevin Sorbo, Roy Scheider, Rob Zombie, Martin Sheen and Hilary Duff. He is perhaps best known for his continuing role as Salmoneus on the popular Xena and Hercules television shows, and his startling portrayal of The Son of Sam in the TV movie Out Of The Darkness. He recently won a slew of LA theatre awards for (among others) his one man show-The Return of Brother Theodore, a Russian major in Ravensridge, a sex-starved lawyer in La Ronde de Lunch, and an 800 year old Islamic Genii in Guest of the Sultan. He is also the author of Dear Salmoneus: The World’s First Guide to Love and Money,which has been called “an hysterically funny tome that you can pick up anytime, and is always available to give you hearty chuckles” (Dreamwatch magazine).
