Reminders

  • Individuals ages 13 and older must purchase an adult pass.
  • Refunds are only available until one week after the date of purchase, for purchases made 2 or more weeks before the event.
  • Refunds are not available for purchases made during or the two weeks preceding the event.
  • Groups with 20+ attending individuals are eligible to receive a discounted group rate of $30 per pass.

The Artist Alley at Anime Conji is a venue for amateur and semi-professional artists to celebrate pop culture through fantastic works of art, and share their original artwork, prints, crafts, clothing, comics and ‘zines. Don’t miss the chance to meet and support these amazing artists!

Table Sizes

For half tables, you will be issued a half of an 8 foot table, divided down the middle (front to back). You are not permitted to share this space with other artists. (One - "1" Badge is now included in this price)
 
For full tables, you will be issued a private 8 foot table.
 
You are permitted to share this space with a maximum of 2 other artists. (Badge is included in this price).
 

Information

During the purchase process you will be required to agree to to:
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ARTIST ALLEY PARTICIPANTS AT ANIME CONJI® & to our ANIME CONJI® CODE OF CONDUCT.
 
Failure to agree to these; terms, conditions & code of conduct; will result in a refund of your table if inside the cancellation period or a forfeiture of your purchase and refund if not agreed to and complied with.
 
After completion of your purchase, you will be emailed a purchase confirmation. With in 10 business days, you will also receive an: ANIME CONJI® 2014 ARTIST ALLEY APPLICATION. This application will confirm your purchase of table(s) and confirm your queue number to pick your table(s) locations. When your queue number is reached, you will be emailed with a map of the exhibit hall and permitted to chose the table(s) of your choice that are available. If you unable or not satisfied with the possible table locations during the selection process, you will be refunded in full within 2 WEEKS.
 
The application also requires a copy of your California Sales Permit, artist profile & a signature confirming your acceptance of the Anime Conji. If you are unable to submit a California Sales Permit at the time of registration, you will be required to do so before being granted access to your table onsite.

Each 10x10 booth includes three (3) Anime Conji Exhibitor badges.

Anime Conji welcomes all members of the media who are involved in the anime, manga, and/or entertainment industry. Press members may be employed with a major media company or independent contractors or professionals. The requirements for registration are posted below. You must submit your online application by email by April 6th, 2014. On-site registration can be approved or denied at the discretion of the SPJA.

Requirements

In order to be considered “Press” for Anime Conji and to receive a press badge for this year’s convention, individuals will need to fulfill the following requirements:

  1. Active employment with a major media company that is recognized as a print publication (i.e. magazine, newspapers, etc.), radio, television/cable/affiliate station/program, newscast and/or online magazine.
    1. Writers/Reporters from high school and university level publications are encouraged to apply as well. However, in these cases we kindly request that you provide us with a letter of intent signed by you and your editor-in-chief/advisor on official school letterhead. Please also note that we will not be able to provide Press Badges for them. Chaperones are welcome to enjoy the convention by registering through the registration process for the general public. Please register any chaperones through the general public registration.
    2. We kindly request that cosplay-related media outlets present a detailed proposal on the coverage they plan to do at Anime Conji. Taking photos of the cosplayers who attend the convention can be done quite readily without the need of a Press Badge; therefore we reserve the right to deny applications of that nature.
  2. Business card with stated company name, individual name and contact information, or a recent company pay-stub.
    1. We apologize for the inconvenience but we cannot accept business cards without printed contact names due to the possibility of illegal replications.
  3. Valid picture ID.
  4. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age by/on April 18th, 2014.
  5. Submit your application via email to Press@AnimeConji.org.

Individuals who choose to register at the convention will also be required to provide the items mentioned in points 2 and 3 above. Due to the fact that we will not have all of our resources available at the convention, please be aware that information that cannot be verified on the spot may result in the denial of the Press Badge.

If you do not believe you meet these requirements, we recommend purchasing a one-day or three-day badge for the convention as a regular attendee.

Anime Conji® welcomes both industry and professional members who are involved in the anime, manga, and/or entertainment industry. Industry members may be employed with a major industry company or independent contractors or professionals. The requirements for registration are now posted below and you may apply for industry registration through our online form. Please allow at least 10 business days for your application to be processed. You must submit your online application by March 31st, 2014 in order to be considered.

Industry

In order to be considered for “Industry” registration and receive complimentary entrance to this year’s convention, individuals will need to fulfill the following requirements:

  1. Individuals MUST be part of the creative process (i.e. Artist, Musician, Voice Actor, etc) and/or be an executive (CEO/CFO/COO, Director, Lawyer, ect) working in the fields of anime, manga and/or Japanese culture (Japanese: Fashion, Video Games, Movies & Music).
  2. Be in active employment or have worked in the last 6 months with a major industry company that is recognized as a production, licensing, post-production or marketing organization.
  3. Present a business card with stated company name, individual name and contact information and matching recent company pay-stub. (We apologize, however we cannot accept business cards without printed contact names due to illegal replications.)
  4. Present a Valid picture ID upon pass pickup. (US Driver’s license, Passport or Credit card with photo)
  5. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age by/on April 18, 2014.

Notes:

  • Each company will receive maximum of 10 (10) complementary passes only. Additional passes can be purchased at the event or in advanced, for a discounted rate of $55 for a 4-Day Pass.
  • Unfortunately, due to the large volume of Retail (i.e. Salesperson, store manager, etc.) and Office Administration & Support positions (i.e. Assistant, accounting, data entry, IT, etc.), these positions do not qualify for a complementary industry pass; however they may register as a Professional badge. *See Professional registration below for more details*
  • All passes are subject to the convention review process.
  • Individuals who wish to apply for “Industry” admission should complete the Online Industry Pre-Registration Form and bring the required documents listed above to the convention.
